Sanderson Covered Bridge

Sanderson Covered Bridge was built using town lattice truss around 1840. The bridge crosses Otter Creed at 131.5' in Brandon, Rutland County, Vermont. In 1974, Sanderson Covered Bridge was added to the National Register of Historic Places. The original bridge was dismantled in 2002 and was replaced with a new bridge in 2003, the replacement cost $830,000.

A tractor trailer stuck the bridge about a week prior to my visit. The repairs are going to cost about $25,000.
