Hamden Covered Bridge

In the town of Hamden, New York the West branch of the Delaware River runs through and at one point is 128' wide. In 1859, for a $1000, a long truss covered bridge was built.

Much like its younger brother, Fitches Covered Bridge, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in April 1999 and rehabilitated 2001, for $708,000.
