Holmes Creek Covered Bridge

The Holmes Creek Covered Bridge, also known as the Lakeshore Covered Bridge, stands a short 8' 3". spans the Holmes Creek at 41' wide, located in Charlotte, Vermont. Situated along Lake Champlain, the king post truss bridge is the shortest covered bridge in the state and is one of three king post truss covered bridges left standing in the state. The bridge was rehabilitated in 1933, and the roof was replaced in 2002. Registered to the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.
